My ds has shown interest in play cooking recently. He's 3.5. I do have him help with real cooking as much as possible, if he wants.
I think he'd enjoy a play kitchen. Is it worth it to spend the money for one?
If your dc have a play kitchen, does it get used much?

I'm hoping they will gain interest in it again as they get a little older. If I could do it over again I'd buy it second hand for sure.

). One of my younger brothers was real big into play food and cooking until he was 8 or 9, had one of the older fisher price kitchens, and used it until it was seriously falling apart. So, I would say yes, for us, it was worth it.
