I must be crazy..

moving sometime in the next week 1/2-2 weeks. I have to pack up a house we've lived in for 6 years in that short of a time span. I can barely sweep my floor without pain!

Yes, you are crazy, but does this mean you got approved for the new housing?

Hopefully you can find some help! I'd make my husband move everything. Tell people you can't lift and make them do it.

I know what you mean! Now is a great time to get rid of things you don't need!! No use dragging things into a new place that have no use anymore! Good Luck and congrats on the new place!!

Well, I had to move on two weeks notice from a house I thought I was going to live in for years and years. I still don't know how I did it, I just did. You CAN do this and you WILL and congratulations on the approval and the new house and all the new beginnings that are coming witgh this new life.

Wish we lived closer or I swear I'd haul my pregnant @$$ over and help you somehow.

"House" is perhaps an over statment. We're moving to condo like attached houses that is our low income housing in town. But the housing there is SO NICE compared to the type of houses you get with Section 8 around here. Its impossible to find a place that fits all the criteria. Yard, 3 bedrooms, playground, etc. Hence the reason we've been here for 6 years. :

And yes! We did get approved! We went to look at it today and I love it. I'm so excited to move! I just wish I had more physical stamina. I have energy! Tons of energy! But my muscles just won't cooperate with me.

If I had anything to declutter it would be easier. However, after dealing with bedbugs for a year.. we threw out most of all our belongings. We only have a table, chairs, and our computer desks for furniture. No beds, dressers, shelves, etc. We had to throw all that away already.

Which will make it easier to move at least. LOL

I'm packing one box at a time and resting in between. Honestly, I think I'm packing more than I do when I'm ABLE to bend over, just because it's so steady. Hang in there, you can do it!

We tossed most of our clutter when we moved in last spring, thinking it would be our final move :P 90% of our possessions are books, though, and my husband figured out what placental abruption was. So I pack, tape, and abandon for my husband to stack when he's home.

do you think all that packing, bending and lifting will help you go into labor sooner...and is that a good thing? like maybe it's good to get all this done to help bring on labor?

so, yeah, you deserve lots of help anytime you move but especially right now. hope that you can get some free strong bodies to assist you all. and, so hapy for you to have been approved for the new housing. yay!

I hope this babe stays put for another 25 days. EEEEK! Only 25 days?!?!
You must be crazy! And so am I!!! I have spent the last week preparing for a huge yard sale. I've been getting all of the baby stuff out, washed, and organized. I don't know how I'm doing it. I don't have a huge burst of energy; I think that it's sheer terror of what things will be like around here if I don't do it. We have our garage half cleaned out and our storage unit half cleaned out at this point. It is freakin' chaos around here! I'll be rooting for ya

Good luck

I moved during finals week less than a month before Phoenix was born while I was under the impression that lifting could "kill" the baby. Almost forgot about that one because the most recent move was so traumatic.

9 1/2 year old girls are STRONG!!! Mine looked like a little fairytale princess but she sure could outmuscle me when it came down to it.

You're doing great, all you movers, and I sure hope my landlord doesn't notice my pregnancy or how many people actually live in this house because I'd sure rather admire you from a distance than join the club.
