I just made up some softy balls for my little one. They were super quick and easy!

Those look great! Thanks for posting the link to the pattern, I've been looking everywhere for it. Did you stitch it with dental floss? Some other instructions I saw said to sew with dental floss (not embroidery floss).

Err. No. Was I supposed to? I just used regular all purpose thread in my machine and the same stuff when hand sewing them shut.

What would the benefit of dental floss be?

As far as I could tell, dental floss was stronger than regular thread. I think that was the idea, but I'm not sure.
