How much to sell Baby Einstein DVD set for.

I have a 9 disk BE DVD set that I want to sell on craigslist, and I have no idea how much it is worth. I looked around amazon and ebay, and new sets (which this is) sell for over a 100, so I placed an add a few days ago for $50 and I think I'm getting low balled by someone.

How much is it worth (still in original packaging, never used)?

Whenever I'm trying to set a price for things I'm selling I look at the completed listings on Ebay. I take an average of recent ones (including postage) and base my price on that.

A while back, I had five and four were never openned. I sold them all together and got $22.50 or $4.50 per piece. I think I listed them at least twice before getting my one and only bid on Ebay.

Since its still in packaging i wouldn't accept less than 50, although i probably would try and get 80bucks or more even. Especially if they sell for 100 bucks new(which yours is). Then if i couldn't get that i would sell for lower.

Is it a current one still being sold in stores, never opened? If it is, I would take it to a store that sells it, tell them it was a gift and you don't have a gift receipt. Most stores will give you store credit (a gift card) for whatever the current price is (which means if it's on sale, they'll give you the sale price).

I've done it several times with books - the store is going to sell it for as much as they gave you back, so it comes out even. I got almost $40 at Borders this Christmas for a cookbook I didn't want! But the item has to be new and unopened/unused.
