I'll be all ready for the baby. Somebody hold me to it.

I need to:
  • purchase the remaining birth supplies
  • assemble said supplies in an accessible area in my bedroom
  • set up changing area and nursing basket in my room
  • wash and dry on hot the following- sheets towels, blankets and washcloths, then seal in a large bag to be used for the birth
  • wash and dry diapers
  • take inventory of covers, wipes, creams, and other baby essentials and then purchase what is still needed
  • make a list of phone numbers for dh to call when labor happens
  • make a list of phone numbers to keep in my purse in case labor happens while I'm out
  • freeze some pads with witch hazel
  • finish seaming up the little sweater I knitted for him and knit a hat to match it

Okay, so does anyone want to do this with me? Must have it all ready to go by this weekend.....or am I the only one here still not ready?

i am so not ready. and if this goes like ezra, i could have an early babe in just three weeks! i haven't even picked up my birth kit, yet b/c i work with the lady i bought it from and won't see her until next week!

tell me which post partum pads you are using and the details of freezing them so i can do that with you. i have the pads and the witch hazel. how many do you plan to freeze? i have all the sheets, towels and dipes ready except that i need to buy some snappi's.

Oh I'm not ready yet either, and I'm at 37 weeks now, so baby's good to go whenever s/he wants.

All I did was pack the baby's stuff and today I asked my son to get ready an overnight bag for himself, since the two kids will be shipped off to their grandparents' for 2-3 days to give us a tiny break before finding out what life is like with 3 kids.

I still have to compile a list of phone numbers and figure out with my FIL logistics for DS going to school if I happen to give birth during the week. Plus I have to figure out what I want to do with my placenta and leave some post-partum chinese herbs with a neighbor to prepare for when we get home from the birthing centre.

I sit on an exercise ball most days now to help my achy joints. Since this is our last one, I am in no hurry and actually hope to make it to Feb 7, Chinese New Year before baby#3 makes its debut...

Nah, i'm not ready either. I have a floor, and it's hoovered. That's about it

I want to finish tidying the bedroom, put a blind up in the kitchen, get a load of spare bedlinen and generally put together a box of stuff for baby/birth/that kind of thing. Oh, and getting the nappies out of the loft might be a plan

I was 37 weeks yesterday and I want to be completely ready by the end of the weekend as well! I need to:

- test out birth pool (hopefully tonight!)
- make/freeze electrolyte drink to drink during labor
- make/freeze lots of chili, turkey dinner and dairy-free pancakes for quick and easy meals postpartum
- update dh's Birth To Do list
- do taxes
