Who has their name(s) picked out?

I have had sooo much trouble picking a name this time around. His middle name will be Coan (my grandfather's middle name) but I can't put a thumb on the right first name. DH and I were discussing names today and we had one stick out. Ethan. But then I looked it up on ssa.gov and its a top ten name. I just can't do that to my kid. I was Sarah A. my whole life (of course until I got married although some school friends still call me that lol) and I hated it! So now I'm looking at Elias Coan. I'd call him Eli for short. His initials would be ECG. Has anyone else picked out their names? DH and I are going to try to pick out a girl name JIC That's even harder to do than picking a boy name!!

We've only narrowed it down to Eli or Jack. Might wait until he's here to see if looks more like one or the other.

Charlotte Abigail. If the ultrasound was wrong and it's a boy--Rory James.

We are still trying to figure this out too! It is very difficult this time around for some reason.

We've landed on Lily Alisabeth. DH sometimes second guesses the name thinking it may not be adult enough for when she grows up, but I love it and think it fits just fine. We have been telling people though that it's subject to change once we hold her and see her for the first time

I love the name Eli by the way! My cousin named her baby that and I think it's super adorable!!

We had our names picked out 2 1/2 years ago (LOL). I don't really worry about top 10 names. I already have enough to worry about with names because I'm a teacher and there are a few more names added to the "do not use" list every year. So we just picked names we liked and aren't worried about how popular they are.

Our girl name was Madeleine Louise, which I'm kind of bummed about not being able to use this time around, but maybe DH will let me keep it on the list for next time

Our boy name started out as Christopher Lawrence. The Lawrence part is for my dad and brother, but when my grandpa died, we decided to go with his name instead. So our baby's name will be Christopher Lyle.

Anisa Ismail for our little girl. DH decided last minute he wanted to change her name to Lena, but not gonna happen. Everyone in the family already knows the name and I love the name. We had that name picked out long before she was even conceived!

What's funny is we had no trouble whatsoever naming either of our daughters...we just picked the name and that was it. I think we even picked out bridget before we knew that we were pg with her! This boy, though....trouble! We have a name, finally, but it was a struggle. DH hated every name I came up with: McClain, Langston, Shepherd, and one more that I can't remember. I hated the names he came up with: I can't even remember them, they were so awful. Probably Han Solo or something...

I finally just wanted to name the baby after dh, who is the III, so this baby would be the IV. I'm opposed to dragging a name on for four generations, but I was getting desperate. Finally, dh came up with a name and I was happy. Whew! Who knows what the baby would have been called if we hadn't compromised...maybe Dell Laptop? (DH is a computer programmer! )

I think I am pretty sold on Gabriel Jude though I worry it sounds overly Christian and we aren't Christians! Gabriel will for sure be the first name but we may change the middle if we find something else we both can agree on.

If this is a girl (which is doubtful based on the u/s scans) the name will be Grace Hannah Elizabeth.

Lilly Devorah for a girl, the boys name is way up in the air since Dh won't even discuss is until babe is on the outside. He's mentioned Moshe, but that name's not on my list. SO we shall see.

We don't have a middle name yet, and I don't think we will until she's born, but her first name will be Olive.

My little man will be Sid Fisher.

Anna Lynn or Genevieve if it's a girl.

Elliot James or Andrew Joseph if it's a boy. Probably Elliot, though.

We already have a Sam, Luke & Nathan.

Crap if we know. DH has been really busy up until about now, and promises to reassess names he might like. My top three are Andre, Emil and Lee. He likes Andre a ton, too, but doesn't like the other two as much. Theo was our #1 name until my sister's bro-in-law and his partner named their newly adopted son the same thing. I've vetoed more names because I know someone who's named their baby that in the past year. I'm a freak...this kid will be called something, hee hee...
