Allergy?

I took my son (now 2) off dairy when he was 2 (or 4) months (i forget which) because he had stopped pooping and would go weeks without. I eased him back into dairy at around 15 months and he has been great.
My daughter was born one week ago and she poops constantly. It started off with the typical meconium poop, then became the yellow seedy watery poop and now at one week old it is still yellow and seedy but it is the consistancy of...floam??? when she poops you can pick it up easily. very light. not hard, but on the drier side. I thought maybe because I have not been drinking. but she does pee!! Then I began to think with all the pasta and carbs, maybe i just need more fiber???when she does poop, it SOUNDS like breastmilk poop, but the consistancy was all wrong. And she does grunt like shes pushing....but it FOLLOWS the poop.
any thoughts??? does this sound like allergy??? HELP

Maybe? DD had funky poops, was definitely food related for us. I'd talk to her Dr. and probaly just give up dairy for a bitr to see

Ina's was watery and mucousy - also more green in color. Are you using cloth or disposables? My experience is with cloth so I don't know whether it'd "soak in" more (or less) in a disposable ....?

Are you seeing any other allergy signs? Colicky, eczema, etc.? Although a week is a little early to start seeing such clear signs ....

If your oldest had food issues, the chances are the baby will have them too. All 3 of mine have had food allergies and have had different symptoms.
