Can we talk homeopothy?

What are your faves and why?

I am a super novice but have Arnica for swelling/pain.

Black and blue cohosh for either kick-starting or regulating. I have heard Pulsatilla for strengthening contractions, too.

I hear Sepia is good for post-partum healing but wonder if it's considered vegan...does it really come from squid?

I am 34 weeks preggo and working as a midwife's assistant so i have a dual interest, in case you are curious as to why i ask. TIA!

Well, I believe that MOST homeopathic remedies aren't vegan, as they are usually based in a milk sugar.

Sepia does really come from squid, but it is diluted down so much in the preparation of the remedy that if it were to be tested in a lab, it would not have any of the original substance.

Oh. and Pulsatilla is also good for turning a breech baby.

I just quickly googled and found this:

I guess it boils down to the symptoms in that moment and the way the birthing mother is feeling and acting would steer you to the right remedy.

not a BP but Arnica (dropper) was awesome for me for afterpains. Used sepia for morning sickness with good results as well.
