Fingers crossed...

that I may have found the door into labour-land. The last hour or so has been somewhat intense- I can't say that the contractions are majorly painful, but they were pretty much continuous at once point, and the confusion and nausea set in big-time. Everything seems to be calming down slightly (contractions are stronger and less frequent) so I'm hoping that by tonight or tomorrow I'm either in established labour or back out of prodromal, and either is good for me right now...
Oh, and I just lost my mucus plug, big time. But my toilet isn't clean enough for me to take a photograph

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Can you reach your cervix? Are you dialating? I have been having contractions off and on too then they stop. : I check my cervix several times a day to see if anything is happening. Unfortunatly not. We too are so ready to have this baby!

I'm going to get DH to have a feel later. Baby's rotating posterior at the moment ( he was ROA), so I have a feeling I'm in for a long afternoon, whichever way it goes. A baby would be good, but I can handle the disappointment.

helen!!! i so hope that you are in laborland! i am thinking of you and sending you strong but manageable contx all day and night ending with a gentle birth of your babe (i still like the name river, btw) boy. it's happening!!! woo hoo!

Oh boy! Darnit, I'm going to be gone most of the day and night, so I'm not going to be able to obsessively check in, but I can't wait to come home later and see what's going on! This DDC is so exciting already, and almost two weeks away from February!

We still don't know, but : we're hoping. Contractions are back up to five and one, and are getting stronger. I got half an hours sleep earlier, and lying down got him to LOP, but I wouldn't get the champagne open yet.

In exciting news, DH FINALLY got the nappies out of the loft : and my lanolin arrived. So even if I don't have a baby, at least I have something to do...
