I don't post much, just throw in my 2 cents worth now and then, but I definitely lurk since 99% of the single parenting issues in other places revolve around ex-DHs and boyfriends. I am a single mom by choice, and mostly hetero (I have been with a woman, but was a while back). I used a donor to get pg, and learned a lot of what I know about all that from reading here.
Anyway - I totally understand if the concensus is "this is the one place that is ours, so don't crash".
