Wow. Checked today and cervix is open about double what it was when doc checked it. So I guess that means I am at about a 3 or 4. When will labour come???? LoL. DH should be here tomorrow night. Maybe she is just waiting for him.

I was at 3-4 cms for a little while (like a number of days.) I still swear that the pedicure I got was the best thing to help with dilation (I jumped from 1cm to 4cms after the pedi.)

Well, the worst possible time for labour to start would be fast and quick and tomorrow, just before your DH gets there, right? So that sounds like a good time to me...

I think I will be one of the people who stays dialeted forever. With DS1 I never dialated at all and didn't have him until I was induced at 42 weeks. And with DS2 It's not as though I was dialated forever, it was just one day and then they induced me. I dialated to 7 (with almost no symptoms of labor) and then it just stopped. So I haven't had too much luck with going into labor by myself.

But I think it is good things are changing down there because maybe when the 30th rolls around now doc will find it more safe to induce.

I honestly do believe the reason I am moving along so well this time around is because of the EPR. Never thought I would believe in something that has not been proven to work but the only thing I am doing different this time around is that. I think I will make it to the 30th. Then my mom and DH will get to be here.

yay that you are changing and progressing! jan 30th is my birthday and i love it as a birthday, so i say you should have a baby then! maybe when dh comes home you all can do a little inducing of your own to catch up for lost time.
