Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm contemplating ordering some but I just can't decide if it's worth it. I'd love some feedback from anyone! Oh, here's an Ebay auction, but I think she describes them well and she's a WAHM!

i thought about them too...but it seems like it would be better to have the liquid absorbed into cloth instead of smashed up against my boobs... seems like a good place for an infection to start... my two cents but i've never actually tried them. hth!

: Although the ad says that it prevents leakage....

Another thing to think about is the silicon. There will be a residue of silicon on your skin, and if you BF the little one will be ingesting it. I am not sure how dangerous silicon is to an infant. I generally avoid anything that has questionable substances, especially since reliable, impartial information on the dangers of substances can be hard to find.

I was definitely, definitely going to get some, until I saw the passage on the NCT sales page where they suggest that they can last a month or more : I don't have that kind of money to throw away on indisposable things that don't last...

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I don't think I'll get them now. I didn't realize they only last a month, I thought they were much longer lasting! I also didn't think about silicone residue. They use it for baby bottles but I agree that that doean't make it safe! About the possiblity of breast infection, I thought about that too but they said the gentle pressure actually reduced the rate of infection . Anyway, thank you all!

I got them for my friend and she said they really weren't that good that she leaked anyways and they didn't want to stay sticking to her.

I had them with DS and I hate them. No matter how hard I pushed them against my skin, I still leaked, and then the milk would pool and sometimes all of a sudden leak out of the pad which made for an embarassing mess. Also they made my skin smell, and no matter how I washed them (even using gentle soap w/o moisturizers, as they told me) the stickiness went away quickly. I didn't know where to put them when I was nursing-- usually you can just tuck your nursing pad out of the way, but these are harder to be discreet about and they're hard to put back on discreetly. They also made my boobs have a weird profile.
So I use lansinoh disposables and am very happy with them.
