I swear I think MDC and my brain are on parallel universes or something, everytime I am doing something or thinking something I come on here and someone is mentioning the same excat thing. Just 15 minutes ago I was reading through my copy of "The Baby Whisperer Solves All Problems."
That, along with "the No-Cry Sleep Solution" (which has an adorable sleeping baby on the cover" and "your Baby & Child" and "How to talk so Kids Will Lsiten" nicely decorate the bottom shelf of my TV stand along with magazines for my DD to play with!
: Yes these are books given to me, inspected by me and given to my DD for play time. She was just playing with this particular one and it was open to an eating chart, so I just looked trhough it and it talks about weaing at a year off the breast, in the 2-3 year section, it is just automatically assumed that they babies are strictly on solids. It was actually bought by my friend to help me get her to sleep better, but none of that made sense for us.
With sleeping through the night, BFed vs Formula fed, I just don't think it makes a diffreence at times. I had some supply isues for a while and my DD was on formula almost striclty, and she was still up every 2 hours. It's just her, how she is. I know exclusive BFing moms whose babies slept through the night. Also I don't think a baby a few months old is not supposed to sleep through the night? I thought if they did you are supposed to wake thm up and feed them anyways or something, I don't know, I have never had her sleep through the night, so I never had to worry about that :-)
