Show me your boys hair cut/style please!

DS used to have longish blond curls. Then I cut it It was a decision made from pressure by others. DS, at 4, had no idea that he was a boy because so many people (strangers) called him a girl on a daily basis DS has enough "issues" and we felt it was cruel of us to add to them by confusing him when others called him a girl. It is a decision I regret. I loved his curls : I didn't like the way my cut looked. It was uneven and no matter what I did I couldn't seem to get it straightened. So I finally took him to a "professional" and told her to fix it (lol... get what you pay for, eh?). I don't like this cut either. I guess I'm a lot pickier than I thought I was I like his hair long (and curly) but it's growing back straight. His days of curly hair are over If I can't have it long and curly I want it short. How it is right now is too long.

Help! It was so much easier when it was long and curly

Anyone have any ideas? Pictures would be great!

I prefer longer hair on boys. My oldest has longer hair and that is always how he wants to keep it. He always says he never wants it as short as so-and-so's. Here is my younger son's hair. I love it! In the summer it is a bit more curly, but during the winter it straightens out. I think it keeps him looking younger rather than looking like a tiny man!

sweet - so this is now a moms-of-owens haircut thread!

my o was BALD until 2. well, no, he had a bad mullet that i hept cutting bc he was so bald on top. we finally went to the hairdresser's for him on friday be he finally had enough hair to begin a style of some sort.

we're going for a longish-floppy bowl cut but bc of his random hair length, she cut a very small bowl but we can spike up his bangs until they're a little longer and floppier. i'll post a pic when he wakes up from his nap.

My ds has a very short haircut, tight to his head.
I don't like the way his hair looks when it's long, plus ds hates having it washed or brushed. He's 5 and until he maintains it or allows me to, it's staying short!

Adorable! I love it! Unfortunately, ds's hair is straight now. No curl to it at all

This played into the decision a little to cut it too. DS has sensory issues and *hates* getting his hair washed/combed. It's gotten better, but I still felt like I was torturing the poor boy everytime he needed it washed.

Awww... adorable!

Thanks DS has absolutely no opinion on what to do with his hair. If I ask if he wants it cut, he says yes. If I ask if he wants to grow it long, he says yes

there's a picture of my hippy boy in my siggy.. Kaeden gets called a girl all the time.. even when he's dressed head to toe in "boy colours".. but the thing is, he doesn't care, he doesn't correct them, and he loves his hair long!

i don't know what to say about your boy's cut (i like it!), but maybe you should just wait until it grows out some more, and then you could try getting it cut again into a new style. i love the curls, i do hope they eventually come back!

Well, I have to join in if it is about haircuts on boy's named Owen!!!

I loved his hair long, but I kinda inflicted a mullet on him trying to keep it out of his eyes. So he got a kiddie salon haircut (before). Now we are growing it. Maybe we will cut it short again when the weather gets hot, maybe not.

This is Owen's hair today, I may have to trim the bangs soon.

All these boys are sooo adorable!! With hair long or short, straight or curly!
