So, since this is baby #2, I wasn't really expecting to drop. I'm 36.5 weeks, and have read that with babies after #1, you usually either don't drop until labor, or until you are within just a few days or a week, at most.
Well, I woke up this morning, and have definitely dropped some. And am suddenly feeling more pelvic pressure. On the bright side, I had much less reflux last night than usual. But I'm not even technically term yet (will hit 37 on Wed), and am NOT quite ready for baby.
For second time and beyond moms, do you tend to drop at all? If so, how close is it to labor? Is it too much to hope that I might still have a good 2-3 weeks left?

Although it was a little uncomfortable at first I'm enjoying having the baby out of my ribs and reclaiming my stomach and lungs. The increased nighttime trips to the potty haven't been a joy but at least I can go back to sleep relatively easily compared to waking with killer heartburn! My measurements went from 32 cm to 30 cm and now they are dropping even more. Any lower and she's going to fall out of me!!
