Has anyone else BTDT? Mine is very light, it started as dark red with the first episode 1 week ago. Last sunday I had a very small amount, not even as much as the last day of an AF. There was very little on tissue after wiping and only a small amount on the front of my panties (I couldn't find my liners, its been so long! Ha)The baby was normally active and I didn't have any other changes so I didn't call the MW figuring that if it continued on Monday I would call then. It stopped. But it restarted on Thursday, which was when I had an appointment with MW anyway. So I told her about Sunday and how it was the same then too. She told me to keep her updated this weekend. I had a little on Friday. Then on Saturday (yesterday) I only had very light color on tissue 2x, it never made it all the way down. The only thing new was that Friday night/Sat. morning I had obvious bright red on tissue in the middle of the night. And then again Sat night/Sunday morn I had more bright red on tissue. This was still much less than AF. But slightly more than the dark red stuff of a few days before.
So I called my MW this morning to update her. She checked a few books and also called another MW who has been practicing for 30+ years who is about an hour from us. The verdict at this point is as long as there are no changes today I am to come for a cervical check tomorrow by my MW. I am to be on bedrest today, which is kinda hard to do since my DP is overseas and I get crazy hungry every hour or so
:. I haven't DTD since DP left in Dec, even on my own. So that couldn't be a cause.
I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen in this or previous pregnancies. What was the cause? At my appointment Thurs the MW mentioned the possibility of a started placenta abruption, just a small tear. The MW wants me to take vit E for a few days to see if it helps. Its not previa cuz the placenta is fundal (at the top).
