Figuring out fabric store sale days

I went to JoAnn's today and got some really cute fabrics for some upcoming projects. However, it seems that I missed their 1/2 off sale on all clearance/red tag fabrics, which ended yesterday. I did end up finding 2 fabrics that were supposed to not be on sale any more, but the tag was left up, therefore I got the 30%, yeah!

Has anyone figured out on what days of the month this happens, or is it random? I know they do it on a fairly regular basis.

The current sale flyers are on the website, and if you are on the mailing list, you get them usually about a week or so in advance of the sales.

You can also go to their website and sign up for email flyers and coupons, though the email coupons don't seem to come as frequently/consistently as the paper version.

I find that the absolute best rock bottom prices usually will run over a weekend (Fri-Sun).

There is at least one sale a month and sometimes twice a month. I haven't looked at it closely to see which days they start on or if there is a clear pattern.

I just wait for the flyers to arrive and then see if I need to stock up!
