i ma making a pair of booties out of the yarn as we speak.

my dd is in love with this yarn and pattern to and asked me to knit her a pair in the velvet grapes coloray. i just ordered the yarn so i can make them for her.

Crikey those booties are cute! I like the orange o-wool in your first shorties. I look forward to the day when I can execute a pattern with no flaws.

Are the red longies Aubrey Doodlepants? What didn't you like about the pattern?

I'm just about ready to start my first knitted longies (I've crocheted some but just learned to knit) so I'm trying to figure out which pattern to use first.

I really want to make Sheepy Pants but maybe not for my very first pair in case I get discouraged.

So cute. Love the booties!

Skyastara, I started with Doodlepants too: basically, it's worth paying for a pattern because someone else has done the tweaking to get the longies to fit in the right places. So although the doodlepants are an easy knit, they aren't that satisfying in the long run, because of the functionality issue. KWIM?

CounterGopi, they're gorgeous I know you said you didn't like the longies, but they look perfect...

Well, that's knitting for you - trial and error! Looks like you are off to a great start, still.
