& how many of us are sure they'll be here for the long haul?

I have always gone on or around my due date, so even though I had contrx last night, I am sure it doesn't mean anything just yet. I still have 5 weeks to go. I think I have shared this fantasy of mine before of me sitting alone in a virtual waiting room listening to muzak, while I can hear the giggles and coo's of mama's holding their new LO's in room down the hall.... So tell me I won't be alone!!!!

Oh yeah!

I'll be here at LEAST another 5 weeks. Jumping into the waiting room with you. I think I can even smell those other babies!

I have a feeling I'll be here til my due date at the least, the 6th, but it might be wishful thinking, who knows? That might not be what you are asking though, I don't think I'll be around all of Feb, hoping to have baby way before the 20th 'cause my dh has an interview back home for a job that would be really good for us if they go as high as we hope with the salary.

I was induced at almost 41 with DD1, and at almost 40 with DD2. Since I'm aiming for no induction this time, and I'm due the 25th, I'd say that I'll likely be here at the end of the month, still cooking.

But if i go on maternity leave, and have all my freezer meals done, and all the baby clothes washed, and the car seat in, and the birth center bag packed, and the house clean, and the newborn stash bought and washed and fluffy, I'll go into labor, right? Right?
*sigh*
Wishful thinking.. no signs here, other than feeling ginormous and having a few more BH contractions each day. I'll probably be here till due date or after..

I'll be 36 weeks on Friday and I'm due around the 22nd. I'm pretty sure I'll be pregnant for at least another 3.5 weeks. I would love to have a baby that was only meant to cook for 38 weeks, but I bet that won't happen. I'm ready though... if he decides to come a bit early he's welcome! I have my birth stuff all ready, his clothes are in the dryer right now, my birth team's phone numbers are on the fridge.. I'd like him to stay in another week or so, but after that he can come!

My son is due 2/25/08 and I'm hoping he will be on time or late because we are in the middle of moving. My last child was 8 days early though so I'm figuring I only really have about 4 weeks left to get settled......

I'd be thrilled to see most of February come and go before I meet him!

I have yet to have on ON my due date nevermind before - so I'm sure I"m in for the long haul. I feel better now at 37.5 weeks than I did at 35 weeks with my "earliest" baby, so I could have 3 or 4 weeks to go! I'm going to try to be patient and accept that baby will come when s/he's ready.

Count me in!! I'm pretty sure I'll be giong a while. Haven't really had any quirks or hints to start with!!

I doubt if I'll go early. My BHs aren't regular at all, he's still swimming around with lots of room, I have no nesting urges, etc etc.

I do stare at my poor tight belly and wonder how the hell it's supposed to stretch MORE, but that's really just me being sad

I figure I'll be here in the waiting room with my EPO and my tea until the end of February

I tend to go right around my due date too, so that's another 5 weeks for me!

I usually go on my due date. For some reason I have a feeling I might be a tad bit earlier this time. Not sure why since nothing big is going on. Maybe just because I'd like to go later because of the move?? LOL

You never know but my edd isn't until Feb 28, so I should be waiting around for several more weeks with y'all!
I've never gone before my EDD, so I'm planning on being here till at least the 24th! Lots of contractions, but soooo totally normal since it's Baby #4.
I've got 3 weeks to go , and contractions just started for me last night, too. I've had about 8 or so since midnight last night. Only about three of those were uncomfortable. So, does it mean anything? I dunno. DS was induced at 41 weeks and 2 days. One thing that I am really happy about is that things *are* happening....and on their own this time around.
I'll be here for at least 3-5 weeks.
I've had two 41 weekers so far...so I'd be surprised if I'm not still here in 4 or 5 weeks.

My DDs were 42.5 and 42 weeks respectively. I am at 37 weeks tomorrow and at this point I am just hoping for a Feb. baby (and preferably not a Leap Year Baby) DD#2 and Dh both have March birthdays so I really would like to have this one by the 28th of Feb.
My EDD is Feb 4, so no fear of a leap year baby here.

I hope this one bakes until just after Chinese New Year, so I can enjoy it and then slip into labourland...

Last two were on the early side of my EDD, so maybe this one will be different!

I am really hoping that this baby follows the trend of those before him/her and comes late! I am due 2/2, but DH and I are planning that it is safe to go into labor around 2/11....
