That this could be labor? Hehe! Probably not, but a nice thought.

I've been stuck in prodominal labor land for 3 weeks now (since I had a water leak around 34 weeks) but today seems a little different. This whole time I have had contractions ranging from 5 to 10 min apart all day and occasionally waking me up at night. I have also been around 3 cm, loosing mucous on a few occasions (starting around 25 weeks). Today though, I woke up with cramps, lost a bit of mucous and the pains seem to be getting stronger.. I may have had a tiny bit of bloody show too, but not enough to really get me excited.

Could I really be? Nah, doubt it... I'll probably still be here, with consistent contractions and all, in 5-7 weeks. Hey, maybe I'm just warming up for the new moon though!

I'm sure a few of you know what I'm talking about... This whole maybe/maybe not, I am, not anymore, sh*t.. Maybe I'll go for a walk or eat some pineapples/papaya

Well, the contractions are doing something! I just checked myself and my cervix feels very short (maybe 1 cm long) and the baby's head feels really, really low. I have also had mucous every time I go to the bathroom, and a drop of blood last time (still 3 cm/fingertips though). Now I'm gonna drink my rrl tea and make some dinner...

Just a quick update..

My contractions stopped around 1 am and resumed around 8 this morning.. At least I got some rest, eh? Oh, and I decided to keep my 6 yr old home today just so I could relax without doing the morning routine/drop off/pick up stuff. She loves surprise "no-school" days!

So, since tonight is a full moon I have plans to go for a walk and absorb the moon's energy later with my friend Jess (our birth partner). Anyway...

Sounds like things could get exciting tonight!! I always get excited about bloody mucus, lol! I'd probably be running (literally) to the nearest store in the full moon and buying a whole pineapple, lol! I hope things either kick in for real or stop so you can rest again. It must get frustrating having the whole on/off contractions.

contractions picked up around midnight and are every 4 minutes now.. They are starting to hurt but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I'll update later.
