-Update-

So, contractions became 10 min apart around 4am so I went to bed... Woke up at 8 with more cramps and they are, once again, becoming strong. I kind of freaked out last night worrying about getting everything ready (staring at a pile of dirty clothes and a sink full of dishes, oh and my 6 yr old woke up with a really high fever around 3am) so I think that's what stopped everything (and my partner is at school today with no way for me to reach him). Now I'm just trying to relax. Oh, and I had a huge mucous glob with some blood this morning. I'll update again later. Hopefully it'll be my birth announcement!

Peace

p.s. Soren flipped to breech this morning too.. So that'll be fun.. Ugh.

ELVs and waiting for your good news!

May this keep going, or may it stall out, flip him back and bring your 6yo's temperature down, whichever you'd rather. (Or, of course, both.) At this point it's really a win-win situation, right?
Are you UCing, btw? I can't remember...

I'm sorry I haven't been on for a couple of days, I've been very busy with...

My 6 yr-old's pink eye So, no, no baby. My contactions were going strong (as of wednesday) until I noticed the red in my kid's eye. I think that I managed to stop labor with my mind, if that's possible. Now, my eyes are itchy and a bit puffy and I'm back to contracting eyery 10 min or so hoping I don't go into labor... Ironic, eh?

Anyway, I hope all of you ladies are doing well (xx to Helen).

(and yes, I am ucing)

That was NOT nice! Making me scroll down and expecting to see that you were busy with your baby! I'm really sorry your DD has pink eye, that darn stuff is so contagious! I totally believe you can stop labor with your mind (sometimes atleast). I hope things clear up quickly so you feel safe for this baby to come!

Vertex again? Or not yet?

TBH, I'm glad things stopped. My last labour was entirely adrenaline-fuelled due to an ailing 5yo, and I stalled out totally then things went terrifyingly fast. It's really hard to concentrate on your newborn when you're convinced you're not in labour :

Breast milk works wonders on pink eye so if you have any put some in yours and your 6yo's.

The mind is a powerful thing and it is possible that you are delaying labor that way. ELV : to you when they do get going good.
