Just my luck...

So after months of trying to get it done (pregant, then newborn) we finally took a bunch of stuff to the Goodwill. Just my luck, the next day one of the items we took there sold on half.com for $14.99! I forgot I hadn't take it down yet, so I had to give the person a refund. Not only did I feel really bad about it, but I could have really used that money! Arghhh! Now I'm back to afraid to get rid of anything! Just my luck!

Think of it as the clutter gremlins digging a trap that You Will Not Fall For!

Even if it would have been nice to get the $14.99, in general extra junk costs money, and it costs time, which costs money, and with a baby, you don't have time to waste. If you let the lost $14.99 stop your decluttering, then you'll have lost the $14.99 _plus_ decluttering progress.

Don't fall in the trap. Don't be hypnotized. Keep decluttering!
