Valentine's day gift for toddlers

I want to make something small (and simple ) for my son and some of his little toddler friends for valentine's day. They are all around 1-2 years old. I was thinking a few felt strawberries, or 2-3 heart shaped bean bags.... Any other ideas?

Since children that age ususally love to fill up and empty out, why not make a little "mailbox" that they can stuff with some valentines. Felt valentines would be very cool--you could applique little stamps on them and so on.

Half of an oatmeal container with a handle attached would work well, for kids that age,to carry around.

Saw this the other day and thought, "Cute!!" They'd be adorable done in pinks and reds.
