How to make your job easier?

Thread Starter
I'm having a homebirth in April and I was wondering what I could have at the birth to make the midwives happy/make their job easier? There will be lots of bottled water in the fridge along with snacks (cheese/crackers/hummus/fruit). But I'm not sure what else I can provide that would be helpful?

Any ideas? Thanks so much.

Can you arrange for the baby to fall out as soon as they arrive? j/k Sounds like you're providing everything that would make me happy

Maybe have some tea (including green tea or something with some caffeine in it in case it's a late night labor) that the midwife could easily make for herself if need be.

Ask your midwife if there is anything you could have for her.

A clean bed or sheets on sofe etc. for midwife to snooze on if labour is slow and it's 3AM.
