Can I use this hemp skirt for anything?

I have a 100% hemp (according to the tag) skirt that a friend gave me to use for the material. It looks and feels a little bit like linen. I've never used hemp before, but imagined something other than this. Can I use hemp in this form for anything diaper related?

Hemp makes nice, very absorbant inserts.

You could try it for inserts, but the number of layers needed would depend on the thickness of the fabric. I'd wash and dry it on hot first to strip fabric softener out and shrink it up.

I would say hemp linen wouldn't be very useful for diapermaking at all, I think it would be way to thin to use. Probably clothing would be what I would use it for.
