why does she smell like formula?

srsly.

so as i've mentioned probably a billion times in other threads, i spent a few years working in the infant room of a childcare center. well, at 3 different centers. i'd noticed the difference in the smell of formula vs. breastmilk, 'cause well, how can you not? same w/the resulting poop and spit-up.

m's poop is totally normal BF poop, but her FACE and her PUKE smell like formula! i'll feed her and when i go to kiss her cheeks, i swear i smell enfamil. and when she spits up, that smells like formula spit-up to me.

is someone sneaking formula into my boobs?

I've noticed the same thing with Reese! Anna-Lee never smelled like anything but BM. (My mom ran a home daycare my entire life, so I'm quite familiar with the formula smells too.) At first I thought maybe it was her clothes (a lot of which were secondhand), but nope. It's her. I don't get it.

Hmmmm...I remember something similar with my girls. I think maybe it's just nasty curdled milk smell? Toren smells sour sometimes...
