What the heck happened?

So two nights ago I was happily eating a potato when I bit down on a pepper corn. It was in one of my molars and the pain was quite suprising. I took it out and went on eating.

I am now in some pain. I have no sensitivity to temperature at this point, and have tried hot and cold water to test. I have no discomfort brushing and can even chew pretty normally. I cannot however clench my teeth without that same pain. It definitely *feels* like nerve pain, but what happened? I can't see a crack, it doesn't feel broken, temperatures don't bother me but I can't bite down. The only think I can think is that I broke through the center of the tooth.

I don't have a dentist and really have no money to see a dentist. That would be an absolute last resort option and it would be EXPENSIVE. I had severe trauma at a dentists office and couldn't be seen unless I was sedated and had someone else in the room. I'd rather have it extracted than filled if you know what I mean.

I treat everything VERY naturally. I'm the kind of person that if I know I can do this naturally I will go to the ends of the earth to do so. PLEASE. Can anyone help or offer assistance?

Since this happened I have used liquid oxygen, pascalite and colloidal silver to help as well as oil pulling. I just have no idea what I'm dealing with here.

I welcome any information.

Okay, I just stuck some hypericum on it and it helped so there's definitely nerve involvement....

I'd be curious to hear what you learn. I have a molar that just today started to feel a little sore. If it was my elbow I would just rub it, and I keep trying to rub my tooth, but it doesn't really do anything. It's not enough pain to keep me awake or anything...I just wonder if I bit down on something or slept with my teeth clenched or it's something worse......... I'm with you on the dentist thing. nononononononono.

Hope we both feel better soon!

Well, I treated it myself for a couple of days...and it was great. In an exciting turn of events I actually went to a dentist. Long story...but I figured from an energetic standpoint I *needed* to get over my block. I wasn't really in any pain anymore, but I could see the tooth was broken. I canceled twice in one day and sobbed on the phone to them. I got there and sat in the chair shaking (literally) He asked me to open my mouth and he couldn't do anything because I was shaking so badly.

He actually went to his cabinet and pulled out Rescue Remedy! After that I loosened up a bit. We were chatting and I found out his son and DIL had a homebirth. Loosened up some more. I was able to let him look at the tooth and he confirmed that I did indeed crack it. He then asked me what my diet was like because he could see evidence of two cavities that had sealed over. (YAY!) He said that his first choice would be to lighten up my bite (apparently I grind my teeth something awful) by filing that one tooth down to avoid direct impant and allow it to heal on it's own. He told me that my mouth looked fabulous and to keep up the good work. He then sent me on my way WITHOUT CHARGING ME.

So, I now LOVE this dentist. I feel reaffirmed and have evidence that you can heal cavities. I also have a dentist that believes the same thing. I can't see myself making regular appointments or anything, but the panic is now gone and I feel like I can release that trauma.

For you I would suggest possibly taking some arnica, using hypericum tincture and rescue remedy ON the tooth that is bothering you. You can also try packing it twice a day with pascalite clay. I also oil pull twice a day to get the bad bacteria out.

Thanks for asking after me!

So glad you got some relief and had a good experience, FF!

Wow, sounds like a good experience. I also really do not like going to dentists. Can you tell me a little about your diet? I've never met an adult who has healed cavities (mine are in progress...no pain and much less sensitivity, so I think I'm heading in the right direction), so I'm very interested in what your diet and teeth cleaning is like.

Thanks...and congrats on your teeth!

Honestly it's been all over the place. I was vegan, until 2005 when I started the specific carbohydrate diet. I was on that for some time and then went back to veganism...this time raw. I'm *pretty* sure that's when I got the cavities. Back in November I started the primal diet...still raw but with animal products and bone broths as well as potatoes (cooked.) It's more WAP than what I was doing before. I guess I'd give it the lion's share of the credit. Meat, TONS of fat, a large amount of vegetable juice and some fruit. Bone broth a couple times a week and some cooked potato almost daily. I also do take supplements.

I brush with tooth soap and pascalite. I also used colloidal silver on my brush when I started seeing the cavities. Oil pulling was also a big deal.

Wow, what a great story! So glad you are ok! Also I am majorly avoiding the dentist and would LOVE a referral if you don't mind!

He is in Bloomfield, CT. His name was Dr. Mason senior (his son is also practicing in the same group.)

I know of a couple others that are in southern CT (I think they'd be closer to you?) that are homeopathic practitioners as well as dentists. I have never used them, but I know several people that have and loved them.

Thinking of you and your family, BTW.
