Gripe Water?

Can anyone tell me what gripe water is? I have a very gassy baby and am ready to try some different things. I feel guilty giving him so much Mylicon. I read about gripe water on several posts. Thank you!

this is one brand of gripe water... i haven't had to try it but it's supposed to soothe the tummy. that one has ginger and fennel in it, which i've used for tummy aches myself..,.

We use baby's bliss gripe water. It also has fennel and ginger extract. It does help with gas for ds.

I love Gripe water. I used it with my oldest and occasionally with Simon. It really works so fast to soothe him and calm him down when the gas is taking over his body like it does so often.

The problem i had w/ gripe water was that you have to give them so much and sometimes they dont like the taste so they end up spitting most of it out. When my kids had gas/colic I gave them Hylands Colic tabs. They did the job great.

I had no luck with mylocin drops, and instead use hylands colic tabs. I think they really help, and baby Jack looks really cute smacking his lips after I give them to him.

that has parabens which are Very nasty things!
there is one called Wellements or something (cant look now) they have it at whole foods & the ingredients r good. my ds likes it & it helps him when gas is bothering him
