I am in the very early stages of creating a resource that shows what women have thought/felt/experienced along their doula journies regarding choosing a certifying organization, or opting to go independently.

Want to help? It seems like there are always women looking for opinions about the advantages/disadvantages, etc., of organizations -- a resource list like this could be really beneficial.

I'll participate since I am in the middle of my cert process!

I can help. I'm working on my CBE through one organization, will do my labor cert through another (if I decide to cert at all) and have my postpartum cert through a small, local organization.

I'd be glad to weight in as well. I'm currently finishing my certification paperwork, and I'm finding some of the requirements a bit insulting and non-sensical.

I also recently chose to transfer my affiliation from one CBE organization to another.
