Anyone know about an oil to open cervix?

After reading it, I googled Jasmine and uterus- came up with interesting results

http://www.katuri.com/care/labor.html

Anyone out there know more and care to share?

TIA

That blend at that price is a huge ripoff, but yes jasmine is said to help contractions act productively. It's not listed as oxytocic like shepherd's purse, fennel, cohash, etc to stimulate contractions. The claim to help healing on site I know is well founded though.

Jasmine essential oil is one of the most expensive oils in perfumery. That said most of it is extracted with solvents that may not be totally removed when distilled. I'd not use it internally. But as a belly massage oil, I have friends who used it.

So hmm, did they say they felt any different- I mean did it seem like a lesser time for birthing- or did they have more pain relief- I know its all subjective-

I suppose Jasmine is the most important of them- but anyone know of using Rose Geranium and Rose.

TIA

I had 2 friends who got massages with oils that had Jasmine absolute in them. Both were ready to be in labor. One swears it got her labor going and the other aid it helped her relax and she thought that helped her progress faster. It is an awesome smelling oil.

I've used a blend with Jasmine absolute + others, in fact the blend mentioned uses Rose oil extra which wasnt in mine.
I definitely swear by it - or the combination- my labor was quite short- VBAC- was expecting something very long-
I was lying in bed waiting for the epidural (yes!) and got the nurse to rub it on me to relieve the tremendous pain- 4-5cm dilated . After I used it, maybe 15mins later- or as long as it took for the nurse to get her stuff ready- I was telling the nurse I wanted to push- she took one look and said - too late for the epidural now - or the baby will be hurt-
So we went without it- and it wasnt so bad! Probably baby was out in 2 hours or less-

And you wont believe the price I paid to my aromatherapist!
