I'd really like to go past 40 weeks. May 1st sounds like a gorgeous day to birth to me. I've got 61 days till my edd and I am not ready mentally, physically, stuff-ically.

OK, i am so confused. first of all i don't know if i was on crack or what last time, but my math was completely wrong. but more confusing than that, according to my m/w and her little wheel, i go from one week to the next (ie change from 32 to 33 weeks) on a Thursday. at least, that's what i thought i remembered from the last several appointments, one of which was on a thursday! But my due date is April 20th, which is a Sunday? So if Thursdays are right, then i have like 47 days... but if Sunday the 20th is right then i have 50 days?!?!

i'm so confused. and my midwife is out of the country and not reachable for another two weeks (volunteering at a clinic in africa). i'd feel like a total nimrod calling her back-up for such a thing. so i guess i'll just have to live in confusion until she gets back

i did an online calculator thing using LMP, and it said April 20th... so i guess for now i should just go with that. so confused.... so confused....

I've got 43 days to go I guess. Or 42. Depends on if I count today or not; it seems almost gone already (2 in the afternoon, and I'm not even dressed yet, but that's mostly because I have no clean underwear and my laundry's in the dryer ;-).

Thanks, mkmama! My EDD was April 13. It's funny, because DS (#2) was due April 17 and came at 33 weeks on Feb 27. My two girls were full-term textbook September births. Now another April boy, and wham! excitement out the wazoo. I'm glad he made it to March, though.

I'm feeling pretty positive about making it to 36 weeks, though that's a recent development. All the cervical length checks are helping me stay calm.

45 days left here! I actually almost typed months instead of weeks I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around how soon that sounds! I'm planning on going to at least 41 weeks again though, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to feel ready beforehand. In the mad dash to get the important stuff done right now though!
