After having a very interesting conversation with my Mum about how long she carried for (38 weeks to the day of conception with all three of us - we were all born on our due date) we recalculated my due date so I have anywhere from 32 to 42 days left to go. I think this babe will be earlier than the LMP estimate.

I also have a second countdown going for myself - the countdown until our new house closes. It's a mere 2 days before my EDD but it's so much more of a solid, knowable countdown, that I kind of like it better. It's also the day that I no longer have to scrub my MIL's ass wax (she smears herself with some kind of chinese medicinal tiger balm and then it sticks to the toilet seat and picks up lint and dead skin cells - can you say absolutely disgusting?) off the toilet seat four times a week so I can go to the bathroom without sitting in it.

That is only 53 days away! And my edd is 55! Oh ho ho I'm getting excited! By the end of the week I'll be in the 40s!

47 days to go here - things finally started feeling "real" over the weekend. LOL I think it's because we started our painting project (our bedroom and dd's bedroom) and once that is done I will be able to pull out baby stuff and start organizing. Plus it will be time to do things like pack for the birth and get his carseat ready.

36 days... I'm sure it will be a lot less. DD was one week early, DS 2 weeks early... so maybe this one will be 3 weeks early?

32 days left...my "due date" is one month from tomorrow...my son was quite punctual so I hope this one is too...I don't want to go early...

I'm the same as Blueirises, so 32 days... but I realized "full term" is a week from Friday! Wooo-hooo!

Now that I've got my most favorite newborn clothes out of storage and laundered, I'm feeling like yeah, baby could show up anytime and I'd be cool with that (though after the 37-week mark is, of course, highly preferable!).

Wow... I've been thinking about you and all you must be going through. I hope the birth is wonderful and you get to enjoy your time recovering and that you recover quickly.

Must be kinda nuts knowing that in less than a week you will be holding that little bundle for the first time.

Depending on which estimate you go by either 20 days or 26 days! I personally think it is more likely that I am in week 37 right now and have 20 days (or less) to go. Yikes!
