Dry Skin

What allergens are most likely to cause dry skin? Not eczema, just really dry skin all over. We're already off dairy and gluten, but I still have this problem, and I'm noticing it starting to develop in DS as well, and I'm feeling like it's an allergy (although I seem to think everything is allergy related these days ). Are there any others that you guys can think of?

No, but I wish I knew. I'm thinking in my case it might be tomatoes or citrus. I have cracking fingers and heels. Though the CLO is definitely helping, I tend to have flares not related to the weather, so I'm thinking food too, just can't figure out what!

Skin issues can also stem from environmental allergies, not just food. Also, our sensitive skin gets dry and itchy in the wintertime (dry, cold weather; running the heater more at night, etc.) I'd try a really good moisturizer, drink plenty of water and consider CLO. And, we started using a cool mist humidifier in DS's room at night and it's really helped his skin.
