Why in the world would a USED didymos sell for $860 Crazy! It was a blend of 50/50 cotton & silk. Does anyone know what they sell for new?

I suspect it is a typo....$86 would make a whole lot more sense

If it were a silk indio it might well not have been a typo... I have never seen one go that high, but I suppose it's possible...

They retailed for normal top of the line Didymos prices (definitely over 100USD). But they are selling for 3 to 4 (or if the OP is right about the price more like 8) times as much because they are no longer made, there was only one run of them. With the silk, and the uniqueness plus how they are to wear... they are definitely in high high demand no doubt.

Yep, it was an indio & no, not a typo, (you'd think it was with a price that high, huh?) it was sold on e-bay. I came across it one day & noticed how high the bidding was up to already so out of curiosity I decided to "watch" it to see what it would end up selling for. Never thought it would go that high. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=018

Wow, that is crazy! But people will pay tons for hard to find didys, and I suppose if you have $860 lying around . . . .

WHAT?!! That is insane!! $860?! What I could do with that money! If I was going to spend a rediculous amount of money on a carrier, I'd get an amautik. I do love my didy though, but $860?! WOW

It was probably a really rare hard to find old edition didy. To each their own, I suppose.

better than spending $1000 for a Bugaboo, I guess.

Holy macaroni!!! That's a lotta change!

That is pretty amazing! I can feed a family of 6 for 1 month with that kind of cash...

Wow. I wouldn't spend that much, but whatever. Hopefully it will be well loved. My problem would be that if I spent a ton of money on a wrap (esp. a light colored one) I would probably be too scared to wear it.
