I think you only have to have a character at 55+ on the realm you create your DK on.

anyways.. I have my own account now (yay)... gonna go make my character again... I hate the fact that I have to start way at the beginning.. kinda sucks

You can move toons to new accounts if you want. It costs $25. I am doing that. I started playing on my ds's account. Got a hunter up to lvl 68 and had a couple of low level alts as well. When I got my own account I moved over the lvl 68 rather than level again. I left the others though.

Actually to be completely honest, this is theoretical. I keep meaning to move my hunter over and I know I can do it, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet

That's good to know. My son has a toon on my account and we're going to get him his own account for Christmas, good to know he won't have to lose his progress.

I just took advantage of a free character move.
I moved PurityLaike, my human warlock, from Illidan to Haomarush. I have an Illidan friend who said she and her whole guild moved, so I went along...

If any Hordies wanna transfer to a lower pop server, Drak'Thul is wide open. But we're PvP.

I guess if Allis wanted to too we'll make room, lol. Alliance are our pets on D'Thul. We /love them and /kiss them and send them on missions to kill other Hordies.

Now, full log again... : I just do not understand why we are limited to holding 25 quests at a time. The game would be so much less frustrating if we could hold onto 50.
I would abandon all your OL quests and just hit Northrend. If you get the QuestGuru mod, it records which quests you abandon, which makes it easy to go back if you want. But really...Northrend quests give better rewards, more money, etc. You may end up only going back for achievements.

I hit Northrend with an empty log and it was quite nice. Done everything in Fjord and working on Tundra now.

Does QuestGuru show you where to go like QuestHelper does? And is it updated for Wrath?

I use both QuestGuru and QuestHelper. They have some overlapping features, but you can turn them off. I use QuestGuru for the log and tracker portions, and QuestTracker for the rest. Both seem to be working fine in Wrath. Some other people in my guild use lightheaded instead of QuestGuru, I think it does mostly the same thing.

I actually really like it, although I haven't been to UK yet. I've explored all of the Borean Tundra and have been doing the quests and reading them and trying to get a feel for the lore. I ended up going to Dalaran, however, and I was kind of hoping not to do that, but since everyone else was doing it... I was not going to explore it yet, but then I heard there was a ghostly skull pet, and I need more pets for the 50 pet achievement, I had to run get it.

Oh, in case you haven't seen it, here is a photo of Lego Booty Bay that was on WoW Insider: http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/11/11...ble-booty-bay/

I'm only up to Havenshire and some quests out on the coast but I've already upgraded my weapon (for my 70 resto Druid) twice so I'm happy. I've spent most of my time playing my DK and I'm surprised how much I like playing her. I was really turned off by the dark beginning. Killing villagers that are cowering or running away or killing a horse just to turn it into an undead mount was disturbing to say the least. So I hurried to get out of there and become good. But now I love how much I can do on my own and love the look of the armor. I'm not looking forward to eventually having my armor look like every other tank in the game.

I have quest guru. History and Abandoned quest logs are always gone after every patch as though they never existed :

The quests I still have are for attunement quests/key quests. I don't know if I need them, but someone in SOK guild took me on a tour to get the quests, showed me where to go, and got me all set up. I know nothing about the key quests, nothing about whatever instances they are for, or if I'll ever make use of it, but she said any opportunity to get a key, take it.

And I have those in Shadowmoon Valley that are 5 groups at the end of long chains... I just need someone people to get with me and help me finish those up.

Quest Guru gives you a larger quest log that is easier to see all your quests without the endless scrolling. It also has options for tracking on the side of your screen, but not on the map like quest helper does. I turn off that feature on the guru because I like the regular in game tracker better. Guru also offers the option of party/guild/chat progress announcer. I like the party announce features, but some people I've grouped with are irritated by it. . Yesterday I ran updates on my wow matrix addon downloader and quest helper needed an update. Even before that, quest helper was doing just fine in northrend.

I love the quests, the lore, the scenery.
However, I'm disappointed in the quest rewards. I'm ending up selling them ALL! Absolutely NOTHING is better than what I have. I'm wearing the purple gear from the invasion quests and have never run any raids, ever. So that is a disappointment. But everything else I'm liking. (I have a ret paladin)

Weird. Do you delete your WTF folder or something? I never do this even though Bliz suggests it.

I downloaded questguru but i haven't really looked at it yet, i'll have to check it out. I update thru wow matrix every 2-3 days but my quest helper was doing good before being updated too.

And I think thats my prob with the xpan too. NOTHING is better than what I have. I got one ring that was a 'lateral' move on my hunter trading a little ap for crit rating but yeah. Both my 70's are in full kara/za/badge gear, a guy I talked to at the wow launch party who played beta said that if you were in that kind of gear you probably wouldn't replace much if any until around 78 :

This isn't different than BC. People in T3 didn't replace it until the late 60's. I've been levelling my bear, and he's replacing a lot of stuff already. He was only in blues before Wrath. Nice part is I've had no trouble tanking the instances I've been running so far...

Try being almost full t6 and knowing there will be no upgrades until t7. *sigh*

Yeah, we were told that current gear should last through level 78+. Which, IMO, is great.. because I don't plan on playing much of the in-between levels. I'm grinding right to 80. Its required of the raid members in our guild.

I wish we had a good guild We joined one, it's not bad but it's not great. Definately not a raiding guild like we're used to though.
