Does SCD work for food allergies?

So, I read Elizabeth lipsky's book and it says that multiple allergies mean that the gut is leaky. DD has multiple allergies preety much every food I think. I even ate ( her too) about 8 foods and even that didnt help. Her knees and creases were still red and inflamed, although the rest of the body cleared.
Is it possible to get rid of every patch in the body? So, I go exploring on the SCD( specific carbhydrate diet) ,as DD also has development delays, and I wonder if its used for allergies as well. As far as I read , its used for ulcerative colitis, for ASD and ADHD. I could not understand whether it would help heal a leaky gut especially since a lot of the fruits and veggies allowed on that diet are allergic to DD or the other way round

So, Has anyone done this and found results for allergies/leaky gut??

TIA

The SCD is meant to heal the gut. It addresses inflammatory bowel diseases, yeast overgrowth, allergies and leaky gut. It works better for some than others. It worked well for us. The reason it works for autism spectrum disorders is because it heals the gut. Developmental delays are a result of poor gut function.
