Linked article, fighting for Female Circumcision

Its an interesting article. I would say its good. The women speaking in this article said it should only be done by adults, and that it is only good for cosmetic, and reasons of tradition. They also critisize westerners, and make comparisions to male circumcision. Although I dont agree with circumcision, such a debate like thsi one really makes westerners rethink their ideas of circumcision on the lines of gender. And if that were possible, question why boys do not have equal protection in law.

Yep, that's what we've been saying all along.

No difference, just culture.

Both are equally barbaric, but when it's adults doing it for themselves, well, that's up to them. Children should be left out of it.
