Dh wants to know - Page 2

Our state has no enforcement, so I wouldn't call the police. But I would insist that they call the police and that I was not leaving until I spoke to an officer. And while I was waiting I would probably call the newspaper.

Unless I'm over in NJ, then I call the police and ask for the manager/establishment to be warned or fined as per the law.

Some women DO sue. I've heard of women receiving financial damages in those states where harassing nursing moms is illegal. I read two stories, one was in New York City and the other I'm not sure...maybe Ohio? Oh and there was one somewhere in Canada too where the mom wants enough money for gas and a restaurant meal after being illegally booted from a restaurant for breastfeeding.

Here is one attorney who specializes in women's issues including breastfeeding.

Pizza will take off the roof of your mouth if you eat it right away too. Lots of (most?) food products are served too hot to consume right away.
Yeah, but if you drop pizza in your lap, you don't have to be hospitalized for eight days and receive skin grafts.

Thanks for the plug, Momtwice. I weighed in above in this thread.

FYI, I can be reached through my website but I haven't been involved with Birth Without Boundaries for a while and can't be reached there. PMing is risky since my box fills up a lot.
