After reading this thread, I went to Whole Foods and bought some RR (I bought the pastilles in the tin), and I LOVE IT! It was an almost instant calm. Now, why didn't my therapist ever recommend this??

Is it safe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding? (please, please, please.......)

absolutely! It's great in labor, and helps with relaxation and oxytocin flow (post birth) for letdown. It's also great for newborns. Especially after a tough birth. Just rub it on their feet, belly and cranials.

A resident of mine uses RR and she claims that you have to put the drops in water or else it's dangerous. She's full of bologna right? I always use it under my tongue.

Um, yeah. They can and are often used straight out of the bottle. They are meant to be. Why in the world would they be dangerous? Perhaps she was just taught incorrectly?

I realize this is very nit-picky but Bach RR is not a homeopathic (nor are the other Bach remedies), it is a flower essence. The confusion lies because a homeopathic company bought Bach Flowers and is now calling them homeopathics, much to the annoyance of other flower essence manufacturers. By calling them homeopathics they have certain marketing advantages over other manufacturers. Carry-on!

My midwife suggested Rescue Remedy to me when I was pregnant in the last trimester. I've used it ever since, even through 4 1/2 years of breastfeeding. It's been fantastic!

I've used Hyland's Calms Forte with some success. I'll have to try RR sometime... you know, when I run out of Ativan

I just found a bottle I didn't remember having! The burn under the tongue brought back memories.

After years of fighting anxiety attacks it's the only stuff that truly helps. Ya know, I use it on a crisis basis for myself and my kids but never considered using it throughout the day to keep an even keel, specifically during PMS time...will have to try that when I have one of those off days.
