Is there a pattern for this sock?

So on our last trip on the plane there was a sock knitter across the aisle from me. Naturally I watched her to see what and how she was doing it when I noticed her ribbing was wavy. I didn't want to ask (not that I could with my demon children ) for details so I just silently wondered about it. I wanted to do this sock! So here I am weeks later reading my blogs when I open one I routinely read. She's (the blogger) has been incognito lately so it was surprising to see her post. What do you know!? It's a pair of wavy socks! Not the ones on the plane of course but wavy and the same way none the less.

Anyone know of a pattern?

Is it really tragic that I've spent the day pondering this? I think you'd need some increases and decreases in there, but I couldn't give you details at the moment.

Not any more tragic than the fact that I have spent weeks pondering this. I saw the sock BEFORE Christmas. I searched ravelry and every other site I could think of and I just can't seem to find THAT sock. Le sigh. Maybe I should just leave her a message and ask for the details. Shouldn't be so hard now should it.

Hey there from the mentioned blogger. LOL!

The stitch pattern has you increase in the stitch pattern and then drop a stitch every few rows.

This works over 8sts and D = drop stitch made from the YO a few rows before.

There's a fondation row to prep the stitch pattern:
K2, P1, YO, P1, K2, P2

Row 1 to 5
K2, P3, K2, P2

Row 6
K2, P1, D, P1, K2 P1, YO, P1

Row 7-11
K2, P2, K2, P3

Row 12
K2, P1, YO, P1, K2, P1, D, P1

Repeat stitch pattern and finish on row 11 dropping the extra stitch before starting your heel.

Good luck!
