blocking Lorna's Laces

Just finished the Quant from Knitty. I like it, but I think it could use a little blocking to even it out a bit. I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted, which I haven't used before. Do you think it's likely to stretch if I block it? The Quant is just the right size tied as tightly as possible, so if it stretches it won't fit anymore...

I just did a hat for my MIL in the same yarn (the Vera colorway...what did you use?) and I found that I don't like blocking it. I blocked it hoping to add some length and found that it actually shrank a bit and took FOREVER to dry (more than a day and this wasn't a thick or deeply complicated pattern). I also made my mom a facecloth ouut of it. She used it in the tub (where it was intended to be used ) and found that it fulled very easily (think a super light felting basically). Given that it seems to be a finicky yarn (shrinks on cold and fulls on bath water) I'd say be careful if you do block it. I don't find it stretches very much.

Thanks, OMnM! I used Tuscany. I'm encouraged that you said it shrank a little--that would actually be good for me. I'm surprised about the fulling thing since it's supposedly superwash.

Anyone else have experience with this yarn?
