Very true. I say to avoid laying flat on your back because most women find it uncomfortable when they're pg since it makes breathing harder. It's definitely a generalization and you should absolutely listen to your body. I always tell people, of any population or ability, to do what is comfortable and challenging. If it hurts or is uncomfortable, don't do it.

And, yes, you can do abs throughout pregnancy. It's best to do them with a stability ball so the range of motion is a bit smaller. Again, do it to a point that is challenging for you and not a bit further.
