Today I went to the uni library and picked up a bunch of books for a report. And then DD and I went down to the FREE exhibit at the city library
- it's about fairy tales and very interactive. Her favorite part was the pretend food set out at the "Beauty & The Beast" display.
Then, I came home and made lasagna
and used up some veggies from the freezer, leftover spaghetti sauce, homemade italian sausage. We can actually see the back of the kitchen freezer. If we can just resist stockpiling, we might make progress.
Though I haven't stated it as one of my goals, I would like to attack the mortgage a little more vigorously. I know it's not going to get paid off, but I'd like to see it drop more quickly. So, I signed up for the bank's online services, so I can check in on the amount every couple months. And I've started a jar fund
that I am going to put change and small bills into. When it fills up, that money will go to the mortgage. It may only be a few hundred a year, but it's better than nothing.
DD is coming down with a cold, so we will probably be at home tomorrow. Maybe snuggling in front of a movie and some hot chocolate is in order.Tracking:
