Internet Preventing a Nice House?? - Page 5

The internet prevents ME from going crazy with a baby that nurses every hour and will only sleep when I hold him, after I am too tired or sore to wear him all day long. I love the internet! And blame my baby for the messy house. (Oh dear, am I in denial!?)

I spend too much time on my laptop at night and my DH is right next to me with his. I get frustrated before he does that we are not interacting until we are so tired we have to go to bed. It feels like such a waster. And DS is constantly asking to get on my laptop for his games. We have talked about screen time limits but have not effectively implemented them. This has inspired to me try to change things for the summer. We will have a family meeting about this this weekend.

The internet was a blessing for me too when my little one could NOT figure out how to nurse! I found so much helpful info and it kept me from going crazy too!!! It can be good and bad, just hard to figure out where to draw the line

Hello my name is Blueeyes, I am an internet addict. It has taken control of my life since I bought my first computer, &..... wait no, I am not an addict..... I don't want to give it up..... no, no.... I do not have a problem ..... so what if the kids are hungry & the house is dirty & my husband hasn't seen me (well maybe the back of my head!) LOL

Yep, on a serious note, I can see where it can be a problem. I know that sometimes I'll be on here & really I could be doing something else that NEEDs to be done. Then again, it also is a really good resource........ for example this board My husband is greatfull for all the inspiration I find here & so am I
I'd say it's a toss up & like everything else, it's good in moderation.
