Our mattress pad has reached the end of its life. I hate the feeling of not having a pad on there, so I want to get something to replace it. Any suggestions of organic ones that are not too expensive? Or other alternatives?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

We have one of these cotton mattress pads. They are pricier than a polyester-padded one would be, but my parents had theirs (identical to these ones) for 20 years without needing to replace it, so we figure it's worth it. Nice and breathable as well.

What about dust mites? I've read that cotton allows for more mites. Have you come across this in your search?

I would think dust mites would not be an issue if those cotton mattress pads can handle hot water washes.
I've seen wool mattress pads, but we can't have those because of a household moth problem.
