was born at 11:36 Saturday night. I had real painful contractions all night Wednesday night and all night Thursday, but only intermittently during the day until Friday evening, when they settled into a real labor pattern. I went into the hospital when I started to feel like I really couldn't do it anymore, which was about an hour before I started to push. Of course, when I did start to push, there was no doctor or nurse in the room, and DH didn't know how to use the call-button (
so he had to go running down the hall to get someone...and the doctor showed up minutes before the baby.
8 lbs 11.4 oz, 21 inches, 36 cm head. Strong cry and I think a good suck, but didn't seem to urinate until 35 hours after birth, right around when they were threatening a catheter.

, maybe he has a huge bladder and you won't have to do so many diaper changes
