Where can I get soft bandanas to use as napkins?

I haven't seen any at my local thrift store and the ones I have seen new in crafts stores are so stiff. They don't look like they would get soft after washing but maybe I'm wrong.

I am talking about your traditional paisley printed bandanas. I think they would be great for napkins.

The stiffness is from sizing, it will wash right out in one wash.

For bulk bandannas, you can do Dharma trading.

Hobby Lobby has sales on banadanas every few months. I bought a stack for 50 cents each for the toddler to play with a few months back. They're 100% cotton, too.
