My choice would be to wait and do nothing... But walking is becoming difficult and I am concerned with the size of the baby... All previous babies were 9 lbs.
Quit walking for a day or so... rest!
I'm a California girl myself and hoping I can get back there to be a LM someday! Maybe Lassen would be a good place to go! I looked on the CA Licensing website and I found three midwives in two surrounding counties. I don't know if they could directly help you, but they may know of someone in your area... it's worth a couple of phone calls at least. The two LM's in Shasta County are Dena Jean Burgess 2672 Belladonna, Redding and Nora Ellen McNeal, 2325 Chestnut St., Redding.www.shastamidwives.com
and the one in Plumas County is Jocelyn Anne Souter 256 Peninsula Dr., Lake Almanor
hope this helps some
