"National Opinion Network" Survey

Thread Starter
I got this in the mail yesterday. It's from the "National Opinion Network, Infant Division".

It's basically a 2-page survey asking all kinds of details about infant feeding. There are options for breastfeeding, but ask all kinds of questions about what types of formula, how many bottles a day, and what types of FREE SAMPLES you received from the hospital and in the mail.

It's clearly some sort of market research for advertising for formula companies...

I filled it out, which was easy because I didn't have to answer all the formula questions, but I don't know if my best bet is to send it back saying I breastfeed, or just throw it out.

Your thoughts?

I fill it out online. I take great joy in listing all the coupons/samples I receive, yet checking the "only boob, never formula" categories. They send them every couple months as your babe gets older. The one I filled out today involved baby food, too.

Yeah, I got one of those too.

I've received, filled out and sent back 3 of them now and ds is 14mo now. I think it was at 3, 6 and 12 months. I take way too much pleasure out of checking the "boob only" boxes and writing in whenever I can that I've never used formula. Hee hee.

I got this survey in an email today. One of the last questions was a select all answers that apply one. It asked 'Does your child suffer from any of these?' The choices were reflux, diarreah, allergies, and something else (another formula related problem ). I didn't select any, and I got a "failure to answer question" page asking me if I intended not to answer, and to 'go back to answer the Q'. Whattheheck?! There wasn't a 'none of the above' choice! Interesting huh? :
