I wasn't even aware of my own states laws, I just took it for granted that there were already laws in place that supported a woman's right to nurse in public with out being harassed, I guess I was wrong.

A bill was proposed once before, but it included the phrase "up to the age of 3 years," so lactivists actually had to fight against the bill.

Before you support this new bill, make sure it doesn't place an age limit on the breastfed child like they tried to do before. Also make sure it doesn't say something like "as long as the mother is as modest as possible." If it says anything like either of these phrases, the bill should be fought against instead of supported.

I don't feel it is now going to be allowed, and I've never been worried about arrest. It is interesting how some places interpret things.

Yeah, I hear you - but on the other hand, perhaps a bit of alarmist language might help push the damn bill through.
